Galleria Notizie, Turin;[1] acquired c. 1966 by Prof. Udo Kultermann and Erika Klüsener, Essen;[2] from 28 July 1976, Erika Klüsener, St. Louis[3]; Private Collection; Private Collection; purchased 2022 through (Luxembourg + Co., London) by NGA. [1] Accardi first started working with Sicofoil, an industrial plastic used for packaging, in 1965, exhibiting her first paintings with the material at the Galleria Notizie in 1966. [2] Kultermann acquired the painting around the time of the 1966 Accardi solo exhibition at the Galerie Thelen in Essen that he curated. From 17 July 1974 the work was on permanent loan to the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen, Munich. [3] Following the 23 January 1975 divorce of Kultermann and Klüsener, their art collection was divided and _Rossorosa_ was returned to her along with 19 other works.
