(Galerie 22, Düsseldorf).[1] private collection, Paris, at least in 1960.[2] Mr. and Mrs. de Calatchi, Neuilly-sur-Seine, at least in 1980.[3] private collection, Paris; purchased 11 December 2003 through (Galerie Malingue, Paris) by NGA. [1] According to provenance provided by Galerie Malingue. [2] The painting was lent to the 1960 Venice Biennale by a private collection in Paris. It was lent to a 1958 exhibition in Leverkusen, Germany, by "Coll. A. E" that may or may not be the same collection. [3] Mr. and Mrs. de Calatchi lent the painting to a 1980 exhibition in Cologne.
