Description
Erik Andriesse was fascinated by the fleeting beauty of life. Around 1990, he spent some time observing the Artis Zoo’s preparators while they dissected dead animals for the museum’s scientific collection. This experience resulted in a wondrous and unique composition of skeletons and skulls (lion, parrot, monkey, giraffe, human and crocodile) in an elusive void that is as wondrous as it is unique.
