Footed Tray

Description

In Korea, paper has been widely used since the 19th century for constructing stationery and storage boxes, as well as for paraphernalia for the scholar's studio. This tray's modest appearance belies both the laborious process involved in its construction and its status in Korea as an object for the scholar's desk.
