The Virgin, the Holy Women, and Saints John, James and Joseph of Arimathea, with Christ on the Way to Calvary

Description

Perhaps because his life was so short, Antonio Carracci's drawings are extremely rare. This rather finished composition reveals the influence of his famous uncle Annibale Carracci's masterful landscapes.
