Woman

Description

This drawing of a terrified woman is representative of the so-called Monster Roster artists, with whom Campoli was associated. Campoli studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago after the Second World War, joining other former G.I.s who drew on their experiences during the war and the Great Depression to render dark images of humanity gone mad.
