Coin Depicting the Goddess Athena

Description

The front (obverse) of this coin depicts the head of goddess Athena, facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet (no crest); a snakey lock of hair falls behind. The back (reverse) depicts two dolphins arched inwards, nose to nose; between them sits an 8-rayed star with center pellet, tips attached with curved lines.
