Chalice

Description

A. W. N. Pugin, the foremost proponent of the Gothic Revival style in England, made this chalice when he was just 15; yet its eclectic combination of Gothic-inspired ornament already demonstrates his experimentation with the architectural vocabulary of the medieval period.
