The Honorable Levi P. Morton [1824-1920]; Mr. and Mrs. William Corcoran Custis; gift 1964 to the NGA.[1] [1] Per John Walker's 5 February 1964 memo to Messrs. Cairns and Cott, the ink stand belonged to the donor's father, Levi P. Morton, and was used by him when he was Vice President of the United States.
