Essaydi, Lalla

Lalla Assia Essaydi (Arabic: لالة السعيدي; born 1956) is a Moroccan photographer known for her staged photographs of Arab women in contemporary art. She currently works in Boston, Massachusetts, and Morocco. Her current residence is in New York.
